Be warned: upon registration your password will be sent in an unencrypted email. There are plenty of ways to ensure that a password is never sent in such a way. Shouldn't a new forum use proper techniques to handle sensitive data?

yep you are right, but this is a makeshift forum, if it holds on then we can discuss about setting up a proper forum and then migrate, however I will try and search if it can be taken care of.
